Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. This Afternoon, it is a National League West Showdown, between Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres.
 
Currently, Dodgers are ahead in the NL West by a 0.5 game, to the Giants. But Padres are not that far behind where they are a game behind. A win by the Padres will tie them with the Dodgers.
 
This Afternoon’s Starting Pitchers are a pair of lefties. Clayton Kershaw will start for the Dodgers and Sean Manaea will go for the Padres. Kershaw does not have a strikeout/walk ratio. He has a pitches/plate appearance of 3.98, and 0.78 groundout/airout. Manaea comes in with a K/BB ratio of 3.80. His P/PA is 3.55. And his GO/AO is 0.95.

Final Thoughts:
Dodgers brought the home run ball. Home Runs by Freddie Freeman and Cody Bellinger (2). 10 runs was more than enough for Clayton Kershaw and Dodgers Pitching Staff. For the Padres, they had problems getting the runs to home plate.

Dodgers will head to Phoenix, to face the Arizona Diamondbacks, starting Tomorrow Night. While Padres will start a Rust Belt Road Trip by facing Cincinnati Reds, starting Tuesday Night.
