Hello and welcome to another addition of 'Live Blogging On Shish On Baseball'. Tonight it is the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is a battle of teams with the two best records in N.L. West. Diamondbacks come in with a record of 52-33, while the Dodgers come in with a record of 57-29.

The Dodgers got some good news today as their third baseman; Justin Turner, will be playing in the All-Star Game in Miami, next week. The Diamondbacks are hoping to salvage at least one game of this three-game set.

Tonight's pitching matchup are a couple of lefties. Robbie Ray for the Diamondbacks and Rich Hill for the Dodgers. Ray comes in with a record 8-4, 3.06 ERA, and 128 Ks. While Hill comes in with a record 5-4, with 4.00 ERA, and 61Ks.

Final Thoughts: This was a game World Series champions win, and pretenders lose.  Diamondbacks had a 4-1 lead going into the Bottom of 9th Inning.  Rodney failed to close out the game, let alone record an out.  Dodgers score four in the ninth, swept the D-Backs, and now have a 5.5 game lead on Arizona, for the N.L. West lead.  And according to the Dodgers Home T.V. Broadcast, they will have a stretch where they will play some below .500 teams after the Break.
