Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball’. Tonight it is Philadelphia Phillies taking on Saint Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals took the first game of this 3-game series by shutting out the Phillies 6-0.

Tonight’s Starting Pitchers are a pair of right handers. Aaron Nola goes for the Phillies and Dakota Hudson for the Cardinals. Nola comes in with a K/BB ratio of 2.38 K/BB and 3.87 P/PA. Meanwhile Hudson comes in with a K/BB ratio of 1.73 K/BB and 3.89 P/PA.

Final Thoughts:
This game was decided in the Top of 2nd Inning. When 2 Cardinals Errors, and Bryce Harper Grand Slam, and that was all Aaron Nola needed to get his 3rd win of 2019. As for the Cardinals, this was an ugly loss. They hope to forget that one tomorrow afternoon.
