Hello and welcome to another edition of ‘Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball’. Tonight it is a battle of Division Leaders, as the Arizona Diamondbacks take on Atlanta Braves. This is a pivotal series for these N.L. Postseason contenders. As it stands right now, both teams are a 0.5 GB behind their respective division leaders. Butthe Braves have a 1.5 edge on the Diamondbacks, for the 2nd N.L. Wild Card. The Braves come in with a record of 51-40, while the D-Backs come in with a record of 51-43.

​Tonight’s starting pitchers are right-hander Zack Godley for the Diamondbacks and Anibal Sanchez for the Braves.

Final Thoughts;
Braves looked explosive in the Bottom of 1st Inning. But they were unable to drive in anymore runs, as they were 1-9 with RISP. As for the Diamondbacks, they got a quality outing by Zack Godley. And they got good hitting from Nick Ahmed. The Diamondbacks are now 0.5 GB behind the Atlanta Braves, for the 2nd N.L. Wild Card.
