Live-Blogging: 2022 National League Division Series-Game 2-San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers

​Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. Tonight, it is Game 2 of the National League Division Series, between San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers.
 
Dodgers started off the game by scoring 5 runs in 3 innings. They ran Mike Clevinger out of Game 1, only going 2.2 innings pitched. Padres scored 3 runs in the Top of 5th Inning. However, the Dodger Bullpen took over the game.
 
For the Padres, they need to a strong start by Yu Darvish. That is if they want to send the NLDS back to San Diego tied up at 1-1.
 
As for the Dodgers, they need to keep their dominance against Padres going by continuing to take early leads.
 
Tonight’s Starting Pitchers are right-hander Yu Darvish for the Padres. And left-hander Clayton Kershaw for the Dodgers.
 
Darvish comes in with a pitches/plate appearance of 3.85. His strikeout/walk ratio is 5.32. And his groundout/airout ratio is 0.75.
 
As for Kershaw, he comes in with a P/PA of 3.74. His K/BB ratio is 5.96. And his GO/AO is 1.12.
 
It is San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 2 of the National League Division Series, coming up shortly.

Final Thoughts:
Padres won this game in the Top of 6th Inning, after Trea Turner committed a fielding error. Jurickson Profar took advantage of that error, with a RBI-Single, scoring Jake Cronenworth. After that Padres Bullpen gave Yu Darvish the victory.

For the Dodgers, they were hitting with runners on base. They stranded 10 baserunners and were 0-for-8 with Runners in Scoring Position (RISP). 

These two teams will head to San Diego. Dodgers have yet to announce their Game 3 starter. While Blake Snell will go for the Padres.
