Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Mixed Martial Arts’. Tonight, It is the Main Card of UFC Vegas 31: Makhachv vs. Moises.
 
This Event has this fight. It also will have a retirement and return in the Co-Main Event, between Marion Renanu and Meisha Tate. And ‘Lil Heathen’ Jeremy Stephens will face Mateusz Gamrot.

Gabriel Benitez vs. Billy Quarantillo (Featherweight Bout):
For this featherweight bout, Mexico’s Benitez (22-9) takes on America’s Quarantillo (15-2). Benitez is a submission artist while Quarantillo is a knockout specialist.
As for their Tale of the Tape, Quarantillo is 2-inches taller while Benitez has reach and leg reach advantag

Quarantillo is in the gray trunks. While the Benitez is in the black trunks.

In this fight, it is a battle between Brazil’s Rodolfo Vieira (7-1) taking on America’s Dustin Stoltzfus. Vieira is known for his submissions. While Stoltzfus is balanced as far as his victories.
However, the American has advantages in reach and leg reach when it comes to the Tale of the Tape.

Vieira is i the black trunks. While Stoltzfus is in the red trunks.

As for this bout, it is the veteran Jeremy Stephens (28-18-0, 1 NC) take on Mateusz Gamrot (18-1). The American is known for his knockouts. While the Polish Fighter is a balance victor.
For the Tale of the Tape, Gamrot has advantages in height and leg reach. While ‘Lil Heathen’ has a 0.5-inch reach advantage.

Stephens is in the gray trunks. While Gamrot is in the black trunks.

The Co-Main Event of this event is Marion Reneau (9-7-1) taking on Miesha Tate (18-7). This is going to be the final fight for Reneau. As for Tate, this will be her first fight in nearly five years.

Reneau is in the black trunks and top. Tate is in the blue trunks and white top.

In this Main Event, it is a Khabib pupil, Islam Makhachev (19-1) taking on Thiago Moises (15-4). Both fighters are balanced with their victories.
As for the Tale of the Tape, Makhachv has advantages in height and leg reach.

Final Thoughts:

An easy night for the judges on the Main Card. As all five fights did not go the distance. Big Night for Billy Quarantill, Rodolfo Vieira, Matesuz Gamrot, Miesha Tate, and Islam Makhachev. 

Finish of the Night goes to Matesuz Gamrot putting a kamura on Jeremy Stephens 1:05 into Round 1 of that fight.

Fight of the Night belongs to Miesha Tate's return and Marion Renanu's retirement, as Tate defeated Renanu on some ground and pound in Round 3.

UFC will have another Fight Night at their APEX, Next Saturday. The Main Event of that Event will be Cory Sandhagen against T.J. Dillashaw in the Bantamweight Division.
