2021 PFL World Championship

Hello, and welcome to ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Mixed Martial Arts’. Tonight, it is the 2021 PFL World Championship.

Professional Fighters League is more of a sports league than a combat sports promotion. The Champions of each division, will earn $1 Million.


There are 6 championship bouts and one special bout. Of the 6 Championship Bouts, 2 of them have defending champions in the Main Event and Co-Main Event.

In the Co-Main Event, it is a rematch of 2018 Welterweight Championship, between Ray Cooper, III and Magomed Magomedkeriov. In that fight, Magomed defeated Cooper by 2nd Round Submission. This year, Cooper will defend the title, after winning it in 2019.


In the Main Event, it is Kayla Harrison defending her lightweight title against Taylor Guardado. The defending champ defeated Mariana Morais and Cindy Dandois in the regular season. While defeating Genah Fabian in the Playoffs on August 19th, 2021
