 Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing’. Tonight, it is the Main Card of BKFC 18. This main card is stacked as this one has four championship fights. The first one tonight is for the 155 LBS. BKFC and Police Gazette Championship Belts, between Luis Palomino and Tyler GoodJohn. The animosity these two have for each other began when Goodjohn interrupted Palomino’s post-fight interview against Jim Alers. In the second title fight, it is Thiago Alves vs. Uly Diaz for the 175 LBS. Strap. Alves is known for his time in UFC. For Diaz, he holds the record in BKFC with the fastest knockout. The other two title fights are for 205 LBS. Belt and the Heavyweight Championship strap. In the 205 LBS. Championship Fight, it is between Hector Lombard and Joe Riggs. While the Heavyweight Championship Fight is between Joey Beltran and Sam Shewmaker. A couple of heavyweights were in the ring wanting a title shot against Joey Beltran. Final Thoughts: Joey Beltran and Luis Palomino were successful in their title defense. While Thiago Alves and Hector Lombard became the first title holders in the Middleweight and Cruiserweight Divisions, respectively. The Knockout of the Night on the Main Card came in the Alves vs. Diaz. When Alves knock Diaz down a couple of times and the ref ended the fight after the 3rd Round, giving the Middleweight Strip to Alves. That bout is also the fight of the night.
