Live-Blogging: BKFC 15: O’Bannon vs. Shewmaker Main Card 12/11/2020

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing’. Tonight, it is Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s Pay-Per-View Event, BKFC 15: O’Bannon vs. Shewmaker.
 
 It was supposed to be a battle of UK vs US in the Co-Main Event and Main Event, but Tyler Goodjohn is the only one representing Queen Elizabeth. Mark Goodbeer was the original opponent for Sam Shewmaker.
However, due to a COVID-19 Positive Test the latter fight is off, and the former fight is on for tonight.

Here is the Main Card to BKFC's Pay-Per-View:

Quentin Henry vs. Jason Fann (205 Lbs. Bout):

Henry is in blue wrist tape, American runks. Fann is in red wrist tape and black trunks. Dan Miragloitta is the referee. 

Round 1:  
1:58: Henry with a a jab.
1:44: Henry with a knockdown. 
1:35: Miragloitta ends the fight. It looked like a jab as Fann was coming towards Henry. 

Result: Quentin Henry wins by TKO, :25 into Round 1. 

Harris Stephenson vs. Drew Lipton:
Stephenson is in the blue wrist tape, 'Back the Blue' trunks. Lipton is in the red wrist tape, pink and black trunks.  Bill Clancy is the referee.

Round 1:
1:58: Stephenson with a combo.
1:38: Stephenson with a jab.
1:23: Stephenson with a knockdown.
1:13: Lipton gets back of the mat.
1:00: Lipton with some combos in the clinch.
:49: Stephenson with a knockdown. 
:41: Clancy with a 10 -count to end the Fight.

Result: Harris Stephenson defeated Drew Lipton by TKO, 1:19 into Round 1.

Brad Kelly vs. Kaine Tomlinson, Senior (170 Lbs. Bout) :

Kelly is in blue wrist tape and black and gold trunks. While Tomlinson is in the red wrist tape and black trunks.  Dan Miragloitta is the referee.

Round 1:
1:52: Tomlinson with a left jab.
1:39: Tomlinson with an uppercut. 
1:24: Tomlinson with a jab.
1:17: Both fighters with some punches in the clinch.
:56: Kelly with a takedown on Tomlinson. 
:43: Tomlinson back off the mat.
:39: Kelly knocks him down again.
:30: Tomlinson gets back off the mat.
:10: Kelly with another takedown.
:00: Miragloitta ends the Fight as the Bell sounds. 

Result: Kelly wins by TKO, 2:00 into Round 1. 

Jenny Savage vs. Sheena Starr (125 Lbs. Bout):
Britain Hart will guest announce with Shea Whitlock and Chris Lytle. Hart defeated Randine Eckholm in the 4th Round in BKFC 14. She also called out Paige VanZant, after the fight. 

Savage is in red wrist tape and white trunks. While Starr is in blue wrist tape, black and teal trunks. 

Bill Clancy is the referee.

1:54: Savage with some combos.
1:44: Savage with some combos.
1:24: Savage with a left strike.
1:08: Savage with a superwoman punch.
:55: Savage with an overhand punch.
:42: Starr with a right. 
:29: Savage with a left.

My Guess: Starr wins Round 1, 10-9.

Round 2:
1:58: Savage with a righ jab.
1:47: Starr with some combos.
1:21: Savage with a right.
1:15: Clancy pauses the fight. Ref ends the fight due to Starr's injuries around her eye, including a nasty mouse underneath Starr's right eye.

Result: Jenny Savage wins by TKO, :45 into Round 2.

David Feldman joined Shea and Chris. They were talking about BKFC's Kingdom Series premiering in Thailand on January 2nd and 'Toe the Line 3' in UK on January 16th. As well as BKFC 16: VanZant Premiere on February 5th, in Tampa, Florida. 

Chris Sarro vs. Josh Burns (Heavyweight Bout):

Sarro is in blue wrist tape and black and gold trunks. While Burns is in the red wrist tape and black trunks. Ban Miragloitta is the referee.

1:25: Burns is in the clinch.
1:04: Burns with a left.
:52: Sarro with a left jab.

1:52: Burns knocks down Sarro. 
1:50: Burns taunts Sarro, after all of the trash talk. Mirgaloitta removes Burns off of Sarro.
1:41: Mirgaliotta ends the Fight. 

Result: Burns wins by TKO. :19 into Round 2.

Dakota Cochrane vs. Tyler Vogel:
Vogel is coming off the heartbreaking 6-round defeat against Jake Bostwick in BKFC 14. 

Cochrane is in blue wrist tape, white trunks. Vogel is in red wrist tape, blue and red trunks. 

Dan Miragliotta is the referee.

1:32: Vogel with a jab to the stomach.

O'Bannon is in the blue wrist tape and a black, red, green, and silver trunks. While Shewmakers is in the red wrist tape and American Trunks. 

Dan Mirgaliotta is the referee. 

Round 1:
1:55: O'Bannon with a jab.
1:41: Shewmaker with a right.
1:34: O'Bannon with a jab.
1:19: Shewmaker knocks down with a jab.
1:00: Both fighters with haymakers.
:52: Shewmaker knocks down.
:42: O'Bannon gets back off the mat.
:22: Shewmaker with some shots.
:05: Shewmaker nails O'Bannon with a jab.

Result: 
Sam Shewmaker wins KO, 2:00 into Round 1. 

After the Fight, Sam Shewmaker calls out BKFC Heavyweight Champion Joey Beltran. Beltran enters the 'Squared Circle'. 

Final Thoughts:
All but one bout ended in a knockout on the Main Card. But Tyler Goodjohn and Charles Bennett went the distance. But Goodjohn dictated the pace of the Co-Main Event. 

As for the Main Event, Shewmaker was out firing in that lone round.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship's next pay-per-view will be in Tampa, Florida on Friday February, 5th, 2021. As they are looking for Paige VanZant in the Main Event. As well as the BKFC knockout record holder Uly Diaz, will be on the card.
