Hello and welcome to special edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Sports'. Tonight it is a live blog of a NCAA FBS game as the Louisville Cardinals take on the Purdue Boilermakers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

The Cardinals are coming off a 9-4 season in 2016, and is bringing back Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. Louisville Head Coach Joe Petrino believes Jackson is better than last year. Louisville will have some difficult games as they will play Clemson, and Florida St. on the schedule.

As for Purdue, they are hoping to make strides in the Big Ten West. This is the first season for Head Coach Jeff Brohm, who comes from Western Kentucky with a 30-10 record in three seasons. The Boilermakers may be without QB David Blough, who is suffered a strained right shoulder. If Blough cannot perform, sophomore Elijah Sindelar will start for the Boilermakers.
