Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on College Football’. Tonight, it is the 2021-22 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, between two Southeastern Conference (SEC) Titans, University of Georgia Bulldogs and University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

These two teams have bad blood for each other, especially in the last few years. In 2017 CFP National Championship Game, Bulldogs were leading 13-0 at halftime when Nick Saban goes with left-handed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to pull the come-from-behind victory to win that National Championship. In this year’s SEC Championship Game, Tide dominated the Bulldogs again in Atlanta, 41-24.

Well, SEC Interdivisional Rivalry is now at center stage at Lucas Oil Stadium, where Georgia will get another crack at the 3-time CFP National Champion. The last time Bulldogs won a national championship was in 1980.

Bulldogs are led by Senior Quarterback Stetson Bennett in passing. While Junior Running Back Zamir White leads Georgia in rushing. And Freshman Tight End Brock Bowers leads the Athens School in receiving.

For the Tide, they are led by 2021 Heisman Trophy Winning Quarterback Bryce Young in passing. Alabama is led by Senior Running Back Brian Robinson, Junior in rushing. And the Tuscaloosa University is led by Junior Wide Receiver Jameson Williams in receiving.

Georgia moves the ball 448.4 YPG (253.9 through the air and 194.6 on the ground). Defensively, they yield the ball 253.9 YPG (172.2 through the air and 81.7 on the ground).

As for the Crimson Tide, they move the ball 494.6 YPG (336.0 through the air and 158.6 on the ground). Defensively, they yield the ball at 306.2 YPG (223.3 through the air and 82.8 on the ground).

Final Thoughts:
A hard fought National Championship Game. But in the end the Bulldogs scored 20 unanswered points in the final 10:14 of this game. 

For the Tide, the injuries at wide receiver was too much for Bryce Young to keep Alabama in the game.

Once Again, Georgia Bulldogs are the 2021-22 College Football Playoff National Championship ending a 41-year championship drought.
