 Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Baseball’. This Afternoon, it is a Monday Matinee in the American League East as Tampa Bay Rays take on Toronto Blue Jays. Rays are the hottest team in baseball. Winners of 10 straight games. And they are tied with the Boston Red Sox for the AL East Division Lead. As for the Blue Jays, this series is a struggle for them. They would like to salvage the finale of this 4-game Friday-to-Monday series. And would like to stay in AL East contention as they will head to Buffalo and possibly back to Toronto. This Afternoon’s Starting Pitchers are left-hander Ryan Yarbrough for the Rays and the Jays will throw right-hander Ross Stripling as a featured pitcher. Yarbrough comes in with a strikeout/walk ratio of 3.50 and pitches/plate appearance of 3.61. As for Stripling, he comes in with a K/BB ratio of 3.63 and a P/PA of 3.89.
