Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball', on the Home Page of Shish on Sports Website. Tonight it is Pittsburgh Pirates taking on Cincinnati Reds. The Pirates are swooning. They're currently on a 8-game losing streak and is in the N.L. Central Cellar. While the Reds have a 2-game winning streak. It will be interesting who could be playing their last game as either a Red or a Pirate. 

Tonight's Starting Pitchers are a pair of right-handers. Jordan Lyles goes for the Pirates and Sonny Gray goes for the Reds. Lyles comes in with a K/BB ratio of 2.73, while averaging 4.07 P/PA. Meanwhile Sonny Gray comes in with a K/BB ratio of 3.34, while averaging 4.12 P/PA. 

Update: Jordan Lyles will not be starting for Pirates. It will be Alex McRae tonight. Lyles is now a member of the Milwaukee Brewers, in a trade today.  McRae has a K/BB ratio of 2.14, while averaging 4.04 P/PA.

Final Thoughts:
The difference in this game was the glaring 10-run, 2nd Inning by the Reds. They took advantage of the Pirates trading away Jordan Lyles, in this game. As for Pirates, they showed life in after the 2nd Inning, but continue to swoon in the 2nd Half of 2019. Pirates now have a 9-game losing streak.
