Hello and welcome to another edition of 'Live Blogging on Shish on Baseball'.  Tonight I decided to blog a game between Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays.  This is an important game for both teams, being that both teams are currently sit in the wild card spots for the A.L. Playoffs.  The Toronto Blue Jays are a game ahead of the Baltimore Orioles, while the Orioles are 2 games in front of both Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners.  Important to note that an Oriole win or Royal loss and it will eliminate the defending World Series Champion Kansas City Royals.  

Orioles are coming off of a 3-game winning streak, while the Blue Jays are coming off of a loss to the New York Yankees last night. It is the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays next on Shish on Sports.

Final Thoughts: Sanchez pitched like an ace tonight with 10 K, 3 BB on 6 IP.  Because of J.A. Happ 20-win season, Aaron Sanchez will probably be the Jays' #2 starter in the Postseason.  As for the Orioles, they are trying to find a way to get on roll or they will lose their wild card spot.  
                             Now after this game, the Blue Jays are 2 games ahead of the Orioles for the first wild card spot in the American League, while the Orioles are currently 1.5 games ahead of the Tigers and Mariners (Both are currently winning their games).  What a week this is going to be in the American League.
