Final Thoughts:
The Royals had some scoring chances, but the Reign were able to get the ball passed Nicole Barnhart one more time than the Royals, in this crucial match for the final spot in the NWSL Playoffs. With the win the Reign moves to 4th place, with 2 games remaining. As for the Royals, this one hurts, but relying on Rodriguez, Press, and Barnhart is starting to come back and haunt the Royals, as those three could be running out of gas. 

Reign will host the Portland Thorns on Sunday. While the Royals will head to Bridgeview, to face the Red Stars.
