The NWSL returns tonight, as they are regrouping from their sexual misconduct scandal.

Also tonight, Gotham and the Spirit are playing at the Philadelphia Union’s home digs. ‘NWSL Editor’ writes that it is because it is a part of a farewell tour for Carli Lloyd.

As far as the standings are concerned, Spirit is in the 6th and final spot for the NWSL Playoffs. While Gotham is in 8thPlace and has a game on hand against Washington.

First Half had some sluggish offense, due to the emotions that were riding at the start of the match. 2nd Half had more scoring opportunities. Carli Lloyd was doing everything to score goals, but was unable.

With the draw, Spirit is still a point up on Gotham. 

Spirit will head back to DC. While Gotham will head to Orlando, to play the Pride. Both Matches on Saturday.
