Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Horse Racing’. This Evening, it is the Ruidoso Downs' 2024 All-American Futurity.

Usually this weekend, Ruidoso Downs Racetrack & Casino would hosting the All-American Stakes races. But due to the flooding and wildfires near Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, they were able to move their races to the Downs of Albuquerque.

In the 2024 All-American Futurity, #3 Hezgotthelook Z (2-1) is going for a triple crown victory. The 2-year-old gelding won both this year’s Ruidoso Futurity and the Rainbow Futurity at Ruidoso Downs. Now Hez must go 440 yards at the Downs at Albuquerque, to capture the Quarter Horse Triple Crown.

Hez will have to defeat the likes of #10 FDD Dreams (6-1) and #4 Brink Man V (7-2) to capture the historic feat.

Here are the All-American Races:

Race 9 (All American Quarter Horse Oaks), 440 yards, Dirt, $626.1K, 10 Horses:
The first race of this blog post is the All-American Oaks. It features 3-year-old fillies. #1 Bigtime B is a scratch. The favorite of this race is #2 Running to the Moon (5-2). There are 2 long shots at 30-1, #3 She’s Snake and #8 Amore for a Reason.

10 MTP: RttM is the favorite at 6-5.

Final Thoughts:
​Hezgotthelook Z is the 2nd Quarter Horse to capture the Triple Crown. He had a collision that was challenged by #2 KJ Bad Moon Rising (20-1). But the officials believe the results will stand. And we have a Quarter Horse Triple Crown.
