Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing: BKFC Fight Night Kansas City-Lindsey vs. Brito

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Shish on Bare Knuckle Boxing’. Tonight, it is Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s Fight Night Kansas City-Lindsey vs. Brito.

In the Main Event, Jake ‘Gypsy' Lindsey (4-1-0) takes on Elvin ‘El Bandito’ Brito (6-4-0). Lindsey is fighting for the first time since losing to Gorjan Slaveski by unanimous decision, for the BKFC Welterweight Title. Now he returns hoping for another chance for the BKFC Welterweight Strap.

Before defeating Ja'Far Fortt in BKFC Clearwater, Elvin Brito was on a 2-fight losing streak. He dropped fights against Luis Palomino (2), Jim Alers, and Carlos Trinidad-Snake. But he has defeated the likes of Kaleb Harris (2). Brito is looking for another shot at the BKFC Welterweight Championship Belt.

In the Co-Main Event, Zeb Vincent (2-1-0) takes on Doug Coltrane (3-1-0). For Vincent, a win against Coltrane will inch him closer for the BKFC Middleweight Belt. As for Coltrane, he needs a win to bounce back from his loss to David Mundell.

Round 3: Akin had some better strikes. But Guymon still looked sharper. Jacob Akin wins 10-9.

Final Thoughts:
Jake Lindsey took over this fight in the final two rounds. As he won by unanimous decision. 

As for the Co-Main Event, Zeb Vincent came back from a knock down. And he defeated Doug Coltrane by 4th Round TKO (Doctor Stoppage).

Speaking of Doctor Stoppage, the BKFC Medical Team were busy. As they stopped 4 of the card's 10 bouts. 

The Knockout of the Night, belonged to Anthony Garrett needing 16 seconds to TKO John Orr.

The Perfomance of the Night belonged to Eduardo Peralta coming back and KO Deron Carlis, 1:59 into Round 2.

And the Fight of the Night, belonged to Blaine Warbritton vs. Justyn Martinez. The fans were robbed of a 5th Round. That fight ended by doctor stoppage, at the end of Round 4.

BKFC will head back to Edmonton, for a 2nd Prospect Series, on Saturday August 31st.
