Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘Live-Blogging Combat Sports’. Tonight, it is the Main Card of Karate Combat’s KC 48. The Main Event of this card is between KC’s Heavyweight Champion Sam Alvey and Antônio Arroyo.

This is a rematch from a bout that occurred in March in Karate Combat: Kickback II. In that fight, the two headbutted each other into a no contest. They both would like to end this fight with a victor, as this is for the KC Heavyweight Championship.

In the Co-Main Event, Christian Perez takes on John Marquez. Also, Efrain Escudero will take on Brandon Jenkins.

Here are the fights for the Main Card:

Safarmamad Akhmadov vs. Gustavo Oliveira (Bantamweight Bout):
So this was another rematch. Safarmamad won the first bout.
Safarmamad is in the black pants. While Oliveira is in the white pants.

Final Thoughts:
Antonio Arroyo had some good strikes in the first round. But it was Alvey who took over the Main Event in the 4th Round, with his takedowns and ground and pound.

In the Co-Main Event, John Marquez outlasted Christian Perez for the 4th Round, for a unanimous decision.

Performance of the Night belonged to Sam Alvey. Finish of the Night belonged Eoghan Chelmiah knocking out Jordan Winski, :14 into Round 1.
The Fight of the Night belonged to Aljamain Sterling defeating Jay Jay Wilson by point decision.
