Here on Shish on Sports' Live-Blogs of Baseball there is a mercy rule for games decided by 10 runs or more after 4-1/2 innings. Translation: I will blog an inning summary until the end of the game.

Bottom of 9th Inning:

Final:
WSH 11, ATL 2
W: Rogers (1-0)
L: Ynoa (0-1)
PoGs: Franco (WSH) 4-5, HR, RBI; Rogers (WSH) W, 5.1 IP, ER, 2 H, 3 K, 2 BB
ToG: 3:33

Final Thoughts:
Nationals gets two 5-run innings, that were both highlighted by Maikel Franco. In the Top of 3rd Inning, he hits a 2-run homer. And in the Top of 8th Inning he hits a bases-clearing double.

For the Braves, they were flat tonight. They only got 3 hits tonight. And the pitching staff was taxed.

Same two teams, Tomorrow Night. Left-Hander Patrick Corbin will start for the Nationals. While Braves have yet to determine a starting pitcher.
